Art for Life
Art for Presence
Art for Peace
Five inspirational days of
creativity, community, and contemplation.
Slow down, make meaningful connections, and cultivate your creative imagination.
We believe in art that deepens our relationships to other people and to the more-than-human world.
We view devotion as gratitude in action and tread a path loving service to life, visible and invisible.
Myths are stories that define who we are and who we aspire to be.
Play is one of the most serious activities we can undertake.
Poetry captures with words that which words cannot capture.
Some words are not to be written; they long to be shared in speech, story, and song. We come together to give life to those words and to give a voice to life.
Our sessions include practices drawn from the performing arts, from psychosomatic disciplines, and from community building processes such as applied theater, polyphonic music, and authentic relating.
Your guides are artists and scholars who have all researched spirituality and creativity from a critical and comparative lens. They value intellectual, embodied, and imaginal ways of knowing, being, and relating.

Nature Immersion amid the hills of northern Vermont
Sky Meadow Retreat Center is built on an original 115-acre homestead in Vermont’s rugged and remote Northeast Kingdom. It was settled around 1850 and served as a family farm for 100 years. It offers a serene and revitalizing environment, which includes quaint cottages and cabins, organic vegetable gardens, swimming ponds, as well as lush woodlands with numerous forest trails.
Nutritious and healthy vegan meals will be prepared on site with care and composed primarily of organic, local, and seasonal ingredients. We share two meals a day but feel free to bring your own breakfast. Tea and snacks will be available throughout the day and we cater to special diets on request.
